third episode of "Break Down the Walls."
"Break Down the Walls" is a five episode podcast mini-series about
suicide prevention, focused on how we can best support loved ones
and friends in need.
On Episode #3 we speak with Amelia Noor-Oshiro, MPH, a PhD Student
in Social & Behavioral Sciences in the Department of Health,
Behavior & Society at Johns Hopkins University.
The three talk about structural oppression and its role in suicidal
ideation, personal responses to mental health and suicide, the
struggles of people of color - specifically Muslim people - and
other marginalized communities, and social justice.
